The Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) Program is ending soon. Any student that need a Chromebook at home should sign up at device.lausd.net. The deadline is May 3rd, 2024.
The Los Angeles Unified School District’s Transportation for All program will begin in the 2024-25 school year. Students will have the opportunity to access transportation that ensures they arrive at school safely and on time.

George K. Porter MS has several instructional programs to meet the needs of our diverse student body. This includes our residential school, School for Advanced Studies, Gifted and High Ability Magnet, and our new magnet program for all students, the Magnet for Innovative Thinking.

In a safe environment and through a rigorous accelerated program, students from George K. Porter Gifted/High Achieving Magnet Middle School will work toward mastery of content area standards and develop academic and social skills that will enable them to become productive members of our ever-changing multiculturally diverse, technologically advancing society.
